If you have had a Brannen Brothers instrument stolen, please contact our Manager of Sales & Marketing. We will request a copy of the police report or a signed waiver. Then, we will contact you should we learn anything of relevance.

Since the Brannen Brothers name is engraved on every one of our instruments, we have sometimes been contacted when one of our instruments has been found in questionable or puzzling situations. On occasion, we have been able to be helpful in having stolen instruments returned to their rightful owners.

If you are considering the purchase of a Brannen Brothers instrument, and something seems "not quite right" about the proposed sale, you may call our Customer Service Representative, give her the serial number of the instrument, and we will tell you whether we list that instrument as stolen. This happens occasionally when someone is offered a Brannen instrument for what seems like a ridiculously low figure, or the instrument is being offered by someone who would seem to have no reason for having it. In most cases, your fears will probably be unfounded. Such calls have, in a few cases, led to the recovery of stolen instruments and, for the prospective buyer, the avoidance of much grief. In such instances, the old adage of, "Better safe than sorry," is definitely true.
